Helping Families and Educators

Cornerstone Advocacy
I am a certified special education teacher with over ten years of experience supporting students across diverse educational settings. I hold Texas certifications in EC–4, 4–8, Special Education EC–12, and ESL EC–12, and I earned a Master’s in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism and Emotional Behavior Disorder. My experience spans collaborative classrooms, Behavior Management Classrooms (BMC), Adaptive Learning Environments (ALE), and alternative programs, including detention centers, giving me a deep understanding of the challenges students, families, and teachers face every day.
Our mission is to empower parents to be confident advocates for their children. We provide the knowledge and tools families need to lead meetings, ask informed questions, and navigate the special education process. We also support teachers, who are often tasked with instructing multiple students with diverse needs without enough individualized resources.
By equipping both families and educators with practical strategies and insights, we foster collaboration and stronger partnerships. Our goal is to ensure every student has the support, advocacy, and opportunities they need to thrive.
